Over the course of 10 months (2023–2024), Tomasz Citak, founder of Talantis, served as interim CEO at Telematics Technologies, a company in the portfolio of CVI, the largest private equity fund in Central and Eastern Europe.
The engagement culminated in a successful full acquisition by Optigis S.A., in a transaction valued at 50 million PLN.
The company was facing a loss of profitability and lacked a clear strategic direction. During the assignment, Tomasz focused on restoring operational control, stabilizing cash flow, launching development initiatives, and actively supporting investor negotiations.
Today, Telematics Technologies continues to operate under its brand — now integrated into the buyer’s ecosystem and contributing to strategic synergies.
This case illustrates the Talantis approach: decisive leadership, execution under pressure, and outcomes that create long-term value.
